** Virus Alert: SirCam **

Due to the nature of this virus, it mass-emails many of the addresses on the computer, in addition to those email addresses it keeps in its own SMTP program.  The virus attachments and emails are titled with a document name from a Word Document, but the attached file is actually the virus.

If you are infected with this virus, you can download fixsirc.com from here and it should delete the virus.  (Please right mouse click the link and choose the "Save Target As" option in order to download this file to your PC.  The file is zipped, as some people were trying to run the file over the Internet.  If you do not have WinZip on your PC, you can download it from www.winzip.com.  After you have unzipped the file, open your My Computer on your desktop, find the file where you saved it on your hard drive and double click it to run.)  If you are not infected, M & M Programming, Inc. recommends that you run this file anyway.  The virus has a trigger date of October 16th when it will actually begin deleting files on your PC.  If any other files are attached to the email DO NOT OPEN THEM.

Please be aware that due to the nature of this virus you will probably not know that you have been infected.  In addition, once you have been infected it will email itself to every email address it can find on your computer.
