Virus Scan

Installing Virus Scan software is always a good idea.  Two of the most popular are Norton AntiVirus and McAfee AntiVirus.  (Most new computers come with one of these packages.)  One of the most important aspects to consider when selecting a virus scan software package is whether the software can be updated.  Many packages offer an Internet or ftp update option, which allows the end-user to update the virus signatures via the Internet.  New viruses are being created every day, so it is imperative to update the viruses for which the software checks.

If there is reason to believe that a virus exists on a computer, yet the software has not detected it, or there is no antivirus software on the computer, feel free to bring the computer into M & M Programming, Inc.'s offices.
